Teams visiting Westcott Field and SMU get to wave to their
mommas before every match.
Opps. I forgot to explain lesson #1. When the sun is very high and coming from
the south and west, raising your left arm instead of your right arm will put a
shadow over your face. (Just a simple tip.)
Not bad, Colorado College. But now we'll show you how it is
supposed to be done.
A slight violation of lesson #1. But, she also raised her left
arm forward rather than straight up. Hence the shadow is over her midsection
rather than over her face.
Just remember Doug's simple rule. It is always better to look good than to play
good.
Of course, sometimes both can be accomplished. So what were
the odds that #17 would score yet another goal off a header off a corner kick?
(That ain't happening again.)
My oh my. What a statistical fluke. That will surely never happen again.
