I took over 800 shots Friday night. This one jumps out at me. A great example
of using center weighted metering instead of matrix metering. Note that most of
the area of the photo is horribly dark, yet the main subject in the middle is
pretty close to perfectly exposed. It also demonstrates the capabilities of
today's digital cameras. The light is basically non-existent. This shot is
therefore taken with a very slow shutter speed. (1/200th.) Anyway, a nice shot.
(I even notice that there are no shadows on the player's face as she is looking
forward. A nice shot for a lot of reasons.)
