Goal!!!!! (I was very
disappointed that I did not get a better shot.)
Goal.
Doug Soccer Commentary. This is how Doug would guess most goals are scored. #10
took a nice shot. But the key to the play is #14 was hustling and was in
position. Soccer involves a ton of running. It is a very, very big field.
#14 did not necessarily score this goal because of great speed. (Maybe she has
great speed, that is not important.) But she was WATCHING THE GAME (that
is extremely important. It is impossible for coaches to teach players to watch
the game. Have to learn that on their own.) and MADE THE RUN. GREAT
STUFF. Now, what is equally important is if no goal is scored, #14 has to hustle
and get back to help defend. Again, great speed is not as critical as watching
the game. Yes, soccer involves a lot of thinking.
