Here is the game's lone goal off a corner kick. It was one of the coolest goals I have ever seen.

#13 scored the goal on a header. Note her concentration as her two teammates jump for the ball and miss. She hit the ball at no more than 3 feet off the ground. Actually, her head was pretty low to the ground when she made contact. This may be one of my best soccer pics ever.

(I guess from the perspective of the Triumph team, this was the caliber of goal that knocked them out of the LHGCL QT. I think that meets the definition of unlucky. Soccer can be a cruel game.)

Well, I think Longhorns got a great goal to win the game. However, I also think we were very lucky that Triumph was not able to score. Best wishes to Triumph for the upcoming season. The difference between winning and losing this game was pretty small.
