The rain and wind picked up drastically at half-time.

So here is a question. The Royales have the nicest uniforms (outfits, whatever) of any school I have seen. So, why does photographer Doug like these photos as much as any he has taken of the Royales? Answer to follow below .........

Answer: The absence of the hats allows the girls' faces to show up better in the photos.
