This was my first ever outing to a Plano high school football game. I hate to
sound like Ronald Reagan, but anybody with doubts about the future of our youth
would have been completely impressed (as was I) with the students of Rockwall
and Plano West. They all put on fabulous performances Friday night. I can't
imagine how many students were participants Friday night. (say 50 on each
football team, 150 in each band, plus drill teams, plus cheerleaders, etc. A
very impressive sight.) I certainly did not expect to take 101 shots of the
halftime shows.
(The two shots above are the same shot.)
Here we see my brief half-time experiment with an electronic flash. Yes,
there is less grain but I just don't like the appearance.
(These two are the same shot.)
Here I took the flash back off my camera.
Luck helps in photography, just like everything else. Getting the shutter to
fire at the height of the kicks was pure luck. Two nice shots in two consecutive
tries. That is pure luck for any photographer.
