Just in case you are wondering. This shot is about as close to perfect as my photography gets. This is the shot I am constantly trying to get. I have the player isolated with the ball, the sun is at a good angle and so the shadows from the sun are minimal. Note just pure grass in the background. Nothing else.  No cars, no players, referees, dads with ripped shorts, etc My shots don't get better than this one.
 

This one is good also. (Two in a row.) If I went back and looked at the negative, Jordyn's entire head may actually be in the frame. I suspect the lab cropped off her head.
 

So I went back and scanned the negative instead of the print. I picked up a little more of Jordyn's head, but not all. Just a poor job on my part.
